Penn Brewery's Oktoberfest - Pittsburgh Festivals & Events

Penn Brewery's Oktoberfest

Penn Brewery's Oktoberfest

Penn Brewery
September

More than 10,000 guests are expected to attend Penn’s classic German festival and enjoy the Brewery’s own award-winning craft beers, hearty German fare, and live Alpine entertainment.

Penn  Brewery is lagering the O-Fest beer and tuning the accordions for the biggest event of the year - Oktoberfest! Hope you'll join everyone under the Fest tent for food, beer, and merrymaking the weekends of September 15-17 and 22-24.

The Event

Fest hours are 5:00-midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, noon to 10:00 pm on Sundays. Only guests age 21 and over are permitted at Oktoberfest after 8:00 pm on Fridays and Saturdays. We encourage you to dress in your finest lederhosen, dirndls, and alpine hats!

There is no cover charge.

Since the fest is covered by tents, the celebration goes on, rain or shine!

The Beer

The Penn Oktoberfest beer will flow, along with several more of your favorite Penn brews.

The Food

No one ever goes hungry at Oktoberfest! We'll be offering German classics (plus some good 'ol American ones) to keep your tummy happy.

Main Tent on Terrace:

Grilled Brat, Chicken Sausage, or Kielbasa on a Pretzel Bun with sauerkraut or peppers & onions and one side dish
Porchetta: Chopped Roast Pork served with hot German potato salad and sauerkraut
Munich-style Oktoberfest Fried Chicken, served with one side dish
Side Dishes: Hot German potato salad, sauerkraut, German-style cucumber and tomato salad
Bavarian-style pretzels served with bier cheese and mustard
Pierogies: potato and cheese and pumpkin with cinnamon brown sugar butter
Mac and bier cheese stuffed sourdough with or w/o bacon

In the Restaurant:

We'll be offering a special Oktoberfest menu in the restaurant from September 15 through October 31. Look for classic German dishes like Roasted Pork Shank and Bavarian baked apple & onion soup. Sehr gut!
