Meet artist and author Chris Calle, who portrayed his father, renowned Apollo artist Paul Calle in the hit movie First Man (2018). Chris Calle will be in attendance to discuss and sign copies of his book Celebrating Apollo 11, The Artwork of Paul Calle, which features renowned images of the only artist who was granted access to the Apollo 11 crew as they made their final preparations on July 16, 1969 to land on the moon.

The sketches he made based on his experiences that day have been displayed at the National Air and Space Museum and the National Gallery of Art. Paul Calle also designed the iconic First Man on the Moon stamp in 1969.
