Minton’s, created by New York businessman Richard Parsons and noted restaurateur and chef Alexander Smalls, is a revival of one of New York City’s most famous jazz clubs. Minton’s features live jazz with every seating. The Minton’s Players consist of a rotating crew of “old school” jazz musicians, many of whom actually played at Minton’s Playhouse back in the day.
