Many of the museums are strategically located a short walk from each other along West Main Street and run the gamut from local arts and crafts to a worldly collection of historical armaments. The Louisville Bats were recognized by Baseball America as the top AAA baseball team in America in 2010 and Slugger Field is one of the best kept fields in the league. No matter what type of music you’re in the mood for you’ll find it. There are venues for the blues, country, indie rock, and every other genre of music. If you’re thinking of a road trip then there’s plenty to do only a short drive from here. A tour of Bullitt Country might be in order, or perhaps a tour of the historic Victorian homes in Old Louisville. You’ll find a great mix of history, culture and fun no matter which direction you’re headed!
