Shaker Square ☆ Add to Trip Planner
Located on the edge of the Shaker Heights neighborhood, Shaker Square is situated in a diverse historic neighborhood and is characterized by a wide variety of restaurants and shops. Situated at the eastern edge of downtown Cleveland, Shaker Square offers a true respite from the drudgery of the modern-day “big box” shopping experience.
Much more than just a shopping area, the square is one of the country’s original town centers and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is the oldest shopping district in Ohio and the second oldest in the nation. The square hosts a variety of community events each year, including a variety of art festivals in June, July and August, a summer concert series and the Cleveland Garlic Festival in early September.
Shaker Square offers a variety of award winning restaurants, fresh food and flowers, fine art and wine!
