It's HOT in Cleveland!

It's HOT in Cleveland!

Cleveland continues to be a hot spot for both travelers and locals. The city has undergone many changes recently and the future holds great promise for C-Town!

2016 saw the Cavaliers, led by Clevelander LeBron James, win the NBA Finals against Golden State. The entire city celebrated in grand style in response to the victory!

Cleveland has continued to impress travelers and
was included in Travel + Leisure’s “50 Best Places to travel in
2015,” Fodor’s 2015 “Must Go” List, which features 25 must see
destinations. Cleveland also impressed beer drinkers and was
included in Travel + Leisure’s “America’s Best Cities for Beer
Lovers” in the number 4 spot!

The East and West Banks of the Flats are developing quickly
and now feature some of Cleveland’s most exciting dining,
nightclub and entertainment destinations. Each side of the
Cuyahoga River has a wide variety of activities that provide
options for families and visitors of all ages.

Cleveland’s Foodie scene is also expanding its already nationwide reputation for world class dining options. New restaurants opened in all areas of town including downtown, both banks of the Flats and University Circle just to mention a few.

Every three years the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame & Museum hold their induction ceremony in Cleveland and in 2015 celebrated another roster of great musicianship with a week long series of concerts and special events to compliment the ceremony.

The renovation of Public Square was begun in 2015 and was completed in 2016 to coincide with the Republican National Convention held July 2016.

Heinen’s, a very popular local grocery store, opened a 27,000 square foot supermarket downtown. In addition to their superb grocery selections they are also well known for their award winning wine and cheese department, grab and go and gourmet food options.

2016 has extended Cleveland’s streak of greatness. Public Square now features an ice skating rink, cafes and restaurants. Local cooking legend Michael Symon has opened another of his award winning restaurants, Mabel’s BBQ on E 4th St.

Cleveland’s Lakefront will also be getting a makeover in 2016. Several mixed use buildings and apartments will be developed
there. Progressive Field will get some touch ups and The Rock Box, an outdoor installation of custom speakers throughout downtown will be installed.

It’s hot in Cleveland and it looks as though it will be for some
time to come!
